Semester 1 English Writing

Topics Covered ( Red English Writing File ):
1) Traffic Accident - completed
2) Fire - completed
3) Mischief/ Misbehaving
4) Robbery/ Burglary

Each topic should include
* A question paper with 4 pictures and some helping words
* A writing plan
* Draft 1 - actual writing of the composition
* Draft 2 - corrections/ re-writing the marked composition for publication
* Collection of news article on the topic, with News Article (1) given by the
teacher. Pupils are to collect their own articles as homework from newspapers or
internet, underline and learn the relevant phrases.
* List of relevant words and phrases

Note: Please also refer to the Term 1 & 2 Spelling & Dictation Lists for other relevant words/ phrases

*Sample Compositions

The pupils will learn to use dictionary for their writing. Please get ready a suitable student's dictionary by Term 2 Week 5.

2012 Semestral Assessment 1, Primary 3

The schedule and scope for the Primary 3 SA1 has been given out to the pupils on Thursday 5th April 2012.

There is an error in the stated scope for Science.

All the topics in the Diversity Textbook will be tested for SA1. A notification on the error has been given out.
